  • Business registration and KYC documentation
  • Bank settlement and billing information
  • Transaction data, payer details, and payment history processed through the gateway
  • Technical data such as IP address, device, and browser information

2. How We Use Cookies

Finivex uses cookies and similar tracking technologies to authenticate sessions, remember preferences, and analyze how the merchant portal and hosted checkout pages are used. Cookies are small data files that may contain an anonymous unique identifier. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though disabling them may limit functionality of the portal.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, operate, and maintain the Finivex payment gateway
  • Process transactions and settle funds to merchants
  • Perform fraud detection, risk scoring, and AML / KYC compliance
  • Communicate with you about your account, transactions, and service updates
  • Improve our products and develop new features

4. Data Sharing

We share information with payment networks, acquiring banks, mobile money operators, and regulators only as necessary to process transactions and meet legal obligations. We do not sell personal information.

5. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures, including encryption in transit, access controls, and PCI-DSS aligned practices, to protect your information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

6. Children's Privacy

Finivex is a business-to-business payment service and is not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you become aware that a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately so we can remove it.

7. Your Rights

Subject to applicable law, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you
  • Correct inaccurate or incomplete data
  • Request deletion of your data, subject to our legal record-keeping obligations
  • Object to or restrict certain processing
  • Request portability of data you have provided

8. Data Retention

We retain transaction and account records for as long as required to provide the service and to comply with financial, tax, and anti-money-laundering regulations in Zimbabwe.

9. International Data Transfers

Your information may be transferred to and processed on servers located outside Zimbabwe where data protection laws may differ. Where this happens, we take steps to ensure your information receives an adequate level of protection.
